61: Feral

ALPHA XANDER’S POV

My paws hit the ground with a vengeance as I ran through the pack, the events of the day made the usual traffic around the road free. I was more than happy for that, not sure I would have had the patience to not trample upon people that wasted my time.

I tried to pay attention to my surroundings while I ran but I found myself zoning out, still desperately trying to mindlink my sister and hear how she is doing. I couldn’t get through to her, it felt like I was reaching the wall of someone that never existed. I didn’t want to give that thought much truth. Because if that were the case, then I was most likely going to lose my mind and go on a killing rampage after that. Forget the damned wolves masking their scents, even if they removed their souls from their bodies in order to not be tracked, I was going to find them and I would kill every one of them.

The unsteady beat of my heart filled my ears, along with the ringing in my head. I could see the pack house in sight
