We’ve been sitting in the sand for more than ten minutes already, and he still wasn't making any move to return me to my room.

Sitting there with him without saying a word to each other and just looking at the water waves was annoying. It was pleasing to the eyes to see the peacefulness of the water, but the fact that he was beside me wasn't helping at all, and his presence kept distracting me from enjoying the grand view.

It was frustrating, I wanted to return home but no matter how hard I asked him, he seemed to be adamant on keeping me outside.

“When are you planning to take me to the mansion?” I asked when I realized he was busy enjoying the scenery.

He looked at me and turned to look away as if he didn't hear me at all. Seeing this, I knew it was no use speaking to him, so I stood up and sucked in a deep breath. “Fine, if you won't return me to my room, I will make my way there myself,” I said as I turned to leave.
