Chapter 4: The anniversary night

Six months later…

In a private room in a high-end restaurant, there was soft cool music romancing the guests and giving them an enthralling feeling.

Daisy looked beautiful and sexy in a body-hug long red dress that accentuated her moderately sexy body. The dress has a V-cut from her neckline to her navel, leaving a hint of her sumptuous fair fine boobs and cleavages. Adorned in silver pieces of jewellery that brought out her mild and graceful temperament, she was alluring to behold.

Daisy was dressed to the nines and made heads turn.

Edward was dressed in crazy jean pants, a vest, and a jean jacket alongside a pair of sneakers. He looked simple, but his long dreads made him look wild and extremely sexy.

A month ago, he and Chris had decided to change their hairstyles from their original buzz cut to the American dread style. Daisy had firmly kicked against the idea at first. But never had she expected their look to turn extremely wild and sexy.

She fell for him more. After all, that is what had infatuated her in the first place, his wild sexiness.

Today, the couples are celebrating their one-year anniversary in a private room, with just a few people considered their inner circle.

Violet, Daisy's kid sister, was present, and even Dave, the popular pop singer, had decided to graze the room with his presence. Edward had almost become emotional.

He never thought he would ever live this big and fulfilled. It was all thanks to Daisy, the goddess in his life. And to him, she was his deity, whom he would dedicate the rest of his life to. He loved her so much now and wanted to be with her forever.

Edward had also brought his kid sister alongside his junior cousin, Chris's sister, over, and the two teenagers were feeling ecstatic, dancing and getting drunk.

But then sitting at the centre of the room in her seat beside Edward, Daisy looked a little lost and absent-minded as she drank from her bottle of alcohol.

She was feeling down and gloomy and intended to get drunk.

She had her eyes glued to a bouquet of daisy flowers sitting pretty in a vase by a table just a few steps away from where she was sitting.

Even though today was her one-year anniversary with the man she loves, yesterday made it exactly six months since she lost her mum. She was supposed to be happy while celebrating this anniversary with her boyfriend, but then this time yesterday, she was at her mum's grave with a big bouquet of daisy flowers, crying her eyes out.

Daisy flowers were her mum's favourite flowers and therefore she named her first daughter Daisy. Funnily, Daisy grew up to love daisy flowers too.

Daisy sighed and drank another shot of wine.

She did not want to ruin the day for her boyfriend, but she just could not help her sadness. He was making an effort to shower her with his love so she should show some level of happiness, right?

Daisy had been so lost when she suddenly began to hear screamings.

She zoned back from her rivery only to see everyone around clapping and shouting excitedly. Immediately, she looked to her right side to see Edward on one knee, stretching out a red velvet box.

Her heart thumped heavily and her eyes widened.

She nearly burst out in excitement and overwhelming happiness.

'Oh my God! Edward is finally proposing to me!' she was inwardly screaming. That honestly is the only thing that could make her genuinely happy that night.

But then, looking closely at what was in the box, she found out there wasn't an engagement ring but a gold necklace.

She was slightly stunned, and then a wave of disappointment washed over her.

"I want you to know that I love you so much Daisy," she heard his voice say into the speakers.

"Thank you for loving and staying with me."

'Oh so he only went on his knees just to give me a fucking gold necklace and not an engagement ring,' Daisy sighed and swallowed.

She could not help but exhale and then stifle out a smile.

'Does he think he is too young to have a fiance? He is almost twenty-four. I will be twenty-six soon.'

She sighed again.

Edward got up and wore the necklace around her neck and there were cheers and clappings in the room.

Among the people in the room, Daisy saw her friends, Cindy and Rose who smiled at her. Rose even gave her a reassuring thumbs up as if she could read her mind and distress.

Daisy nodded and becoming more open-minded, she let go of her distress and decided to flow with the party.

Ever since she met Rose a few months back, Rose has been of great help to her.

Daisy had just returned from the two weeks' leave the industry gave her when she lost her mum. That was how she met Rose, a new actress who had just signed with Finn Media. That week had been hell and would have been worse if not for her family, Edward, and Cindy.

Rose came into her life like a flower that brought a ray of hope.

She became a backbone and went with her through those dark moments. She helped her overcome her mum's death and wiped away her tears. She would rush over to meet her even when she went to her mum's grave to cry.

That she is this sane and could easily go past the trauma is all thanks to Rose, her family, Edward, and Cindy. Therefore, Daisy had made up her mind to support her friends in every way possible.

When Cindy made her debut with her first song weeks back, she gave Cindy all of her support, even going as far as getting Edward to help her in every way possible.

She knows she owes her friends, Rose and Cindy so much for supporting her when her life was at its darkest.

But on the other side where Cindy was sitting, she held a very pretty and bright smile while she stared supportively at her friend, Daisy, but inwardly, her hatred for her friend roared like a raging sea.

She never really liked Daisy even though everyone sees them to be best friends.

Daisy was a billionaire's daughter, the most popular actress and the most naturally beautiful. She was the richest and most loved among them.

Why wouldn't she hate her?

Daisy had everything she wanted and was always chosen first, and it was an eyesore to Cindy.

She has always wanted Daisy's downfall, but she never knew how to go about it. And when she suddenly came across this Lady from the Coasters, whose aim was to destroy Daisy, Cindy did not hesitate to join hands with her.

Infact, the Lady pays her to carry out despicable tasks to the detriment of Daisy.

Cindy had a Bluetooth air pod in her right ear, which the Lady had instructed she would be using to communicate orders to her.

"Edward would leave the room now and once he does, I'll send a young girl in to lure Daisy out. You find a way to seduce and sleep with Edward. That's all the task I have for you tonight," the order came into her ear.

When Cindy heard that, she was a bit stunned.

'Oh, I have to seduce and sleep with Edward?'

Well… she just shrugged. 'I'll do it anyway. Anything to hurt Daisy.'

She then kept her eyes on Edward and watched as Dave and some other artists excused Edward from the private room. She even watched as he took permission from his girlfriend who was still busy drinking the wine from her wine bottle.

The wine that Cindy had spiked.

A few minutes later, a small girl walked into the ward and headed straight to where Daisy was sitting all alone.

"Daisy, Star Eddy asked me to call you out," the girl said to a slightly tipsy and dizzy Daisy.

She raised up her eyes and gulped.

"Where?" she asked and the young girl pointed towards the door, "Outside."

Hearing that, Daisy got up and left the private room with her purse.

Watching her leave, Cindy smirked.

When Daisy stepped out of the door and looked around, her brows furrowed, seeing there wasn't any sign of her boyfriend anywhere.

With a frown, she turned back to look at the small girl behind her. "Where did you say he is?"

The girl pointed forward. "the first lounge after the left turning."

After saying that, the girl scurried away.

Daisy watched the girl leave, and then she shrugged. She then began walking forward.

Her cheeks looked red and rosy as she had been blushing uncontrollably. Maybe it's because of the wine she took, but she was feeling extremely giddy and stupid.

'Strange!'

Getting to the end, she took the right instead and stopped at the first longue. And without knocking, she pushed it open and walked in.

But stepping in, Daisy came faced with darkness, and after being startled, she shut the door and began tracing the wall for the switch, wondering what Edward was doing in the dark. She even wondered if he had some surprises up his sleeve.

But before she could get the switch, a burly masculine figure suddenly trapped her against the wall. She was stunned, but then she chuckled.

"Easy Edward, what's wrong with you?"

She felt hands tug on her neckline, and her boobs sprang out of the low v-neck line of her dress. Soon, ferocious lips trapped her nipples and began to suck them so hard that she immediately moaned loudly, "Edward."

Without a word, she was swept off her feet and thrown onto the bed, and before she could comprehend what was going on, his lips had trapped hers.

He was being rough, and she liked it!

He smelled different but she was too drunk and fuzzy to realize. Besides, she did not understand why her brain systems felt messy and soggy.

Maybe it's the wine!

In the following seconds, her clothes were gone, and she was now totally naked on the bed.

Next, he was pushing himself roughly into her, and her eyes widened. He felt extremely big, and she could not help but gasp in awe and pleasure, "You're so big tonight, Edward! Did you want me this bad?"

The stranger only groaned in response.

After a few ferocious thrusts, she passed out, leaving the hungry wolf to pound deep and hard into her till his heart's content. And when he was exhausted, he too collapsed and fell asleep beside her, the two naked under the ceiling.

Unknown to them that the camera was rolling.
