Anita saw that her mother’s complexion was now pale, she did not know what she was thinking at that moment, she looked at Divan then back at her mother but none of them spared her a glance. Their eyes were glued on each other, Anita shook her head helplessly then stood up from where she was seating. “I will give you two some space.” She told her mother but Laura only nodded.
She did not move or turn to look at her. ‘if the mate bond makes people so stupid then am good without it.’ Anita thought, she stood there for a few seconds hoping that her mother would at least look at her but she did not. Her eyes were glued on Divan and so was his. “Okay, am leaving now.” She said walking to the door but Laura just nodded her head.

Later that evening after they had dinner in a separate dining room, this was done to avoid the pack members and to not answer questions yet. A week has passed and the plan to his Rosewood pack was in motion. The business that Nathan gave them to run was doing well when you got it, Divan had been taking good care of it, they took some money from the business account and they fixed up the cave and made it into a nice modern like of thing. They use it as their packhouse and they are now building a few houses for the other members of the pack.The ceremony was done and now they were a pack. A pack of rogues and they did not change that. Jackson sighed seeing his son like that, he did not know what to do and certainly did not think that it will end up like this. He went and took a seat next to him and look at he picture in his phone. “She is beautiful.” Complimented Jackson and Nathan nodded.“Why is Steven doing this dad?” he asked not understanding his intentions. “He thought that he was protecting the pack and Layla did not help the situation at all.” Jackson told him. “He knows better than to trust Layla, everyone knows that she has ulterior motives, but they trusted her anyway.
