Chapter 40 Hilarious Argument

"Do you think I won't dare?" Jessica challenged. "My son was born and raised by me. He considers everything for my sake. If I don't let him recognize you, do you think he would dare to disobey me?"

Marcus's face turned pale, and he sneered, "Ha, you have a nerve to say that. He considers everything for you? How can you be a mother? Such a young child can cook and do all those household chores so skillfully?"
