Chapter 28

Damien arrived at the luxurious restaurant. He met the manager who was patiently waiting for his arrival. He greeted Damien politely and slightly bowed. Damien nodded in contentment.

The manager smiled and ushered Damien to follow him. He led Damien towards the VIP section and showed him his table.

Damien smiled at him before taking his seat. "Would you like anything sir?" He asked politely. Damien declined and he left. Damien sighed and grabbed his phone scrolling through it.

Minutes had passed and Damien was beginning to get impatient and angry. He hated people who weren't punctual and never stuck to the appointed time.

He crossed his legs and tapped his fingers on his lap repeatedly. Every few minutes, he glanced down at his watch and gritted in anger.

He decided to give her a few more minutes and after that if she didn't show, he was going to call it quits. He never waits for anyone but the opposite. People wait for him instead.
