Chapter 29

Damien drove straight home after his meeting with Claire. He was so upset and needed his comfort to give him peace. His need was in his mansion and he was deeply craving for her warmth right now.

He got out of the car and went in after he gave Ashley specific instructions which she responded with a 'Yes sir'.

He stepped into the mansion and his eyes immediately trailed around the living area for her but he didn't see her. He deduced maybe she was in the kitchen and so he strode over there but didn't find her again.

He sighed before turning towards the stairs. He ran up the stairs like an impatient dog running towards his bones. He was still clearly pissed off by that woman and how dare she think of having him. Just the sight of her disgusted him to the core.

He concluded she would be in her room instead of his which slightly cringed his heart. He didn't like that she was running away and keeping a long distance from him. Even though he let his anger get the better of him but deep dow
