Chapter 127

Warren told Olivia about how his uncle and aunt raised him after his mother's death. The two of them were basically the only parents Warren knew. Although they weren't very rich, they still worked their hardest to put Warren through school and gave him a good education so that Warren may take care of himself. 

Uncle Geoffrey used to tease Warren and say that the moment Warren was done with his studies and found a job for himself, he should move back home to Wellington and take the house. They wouldn't be there since they would be at their little beach house, where Warren wouldn't be welcome. The story sounded so ridiculous that it always made Warren laugh. 

But that was the reason that kept Warren going. The genuine smile he saw on his uncle's face when he talked about retiring next to the Oranje Sea, was the only thing that pushed Warren to succeed. He wanted to pay them back for taking care of him for all the years they offered up to him.
