Chapter 52
Back in Flemond, Warren just arrived in front of the Stargaze Hotel. He opened the doors and walked Allison to the entrance.
"I'm sorry you had to witness what happened tonight. I'm not usually that violent," Warren said apologetically.
Allison replied with a smile. She didn't know what to say. It was evident that Warren was heartbroken that Charles killed his uncle and aunt, but the punishment that Warren gave to Charles was a little too extreme, even for Allison. A quick death would have been alright, but forcing him to live his life as an invalid was a harsh punishment.
"It's alright, Young Master. Will I see you at the office tomorrow?" Allison asked. She didn't want to talk about what happened that night.
