Chapter 45

The car ride was awkward, to say the least. Cyrus was focused on driving back the same road he came from while Luther was scrolling through his phone without a care in the world. But to Cyrus that felt different.

He felt like something was entirely wrong with this whole situation and he was trying to solve it.

"Don't think hard I don't want you to hurt yourself," Luther said out of the blue getting Cyrus to look at him with a frown on his face.

"What are you looking at?" Luther muttered to himself while typing a message on his phone which made him smile and had Cyrus suspicious of it.

"Who the hell are you talking to right now?" He said as Luther looked up from his phone shrugging his shoulders.

"A friend... Lisa. I'm meeting her after we are done with this." He said and Cyrus frowned.

"A date? What about Gabriella? We just got her back. We need to be with her right now and you are abandoning it so you can go on a date?" He asked again but Luther could not see anything bad about it.
