Chapter 38 - Downfall

"Nothing." Jennifer said, turning the wheelchair to face him.

"The rules said that you can't wander around the house without my permission." Asher said, reminding her.

"Fuck the rules. My life, my choice." She said mimicking him which made him angry again.

"You are forgetting that it's my house so the choices will be mine only!" He said, narrowing his eyes at her.

"I am forced to stay here so I will do whatever I want and it's none of your business!" She glared back at him like nothing scares her.

"Everything about you is my business baby!" He said lowering his head towards her.

After he said that, he felt weird as he didn't want to say those words but it was like his tongue had his mind that's why those words slipped out of his mouth without his wish. Jennifer frowned hearing his words and got a little furious as he addressed her as a baby!

"You came here by yourself?" Asher asked suspiciously looking at the wheelchair.
