Chapter 53 - Torture

Jennifer tried to act normal and avoided looking at him while Asher entered the elevator and closed the door. She scooted more to the side to create as much space as possible between them, at that moment if she had the power she would have passed through the elevator to get out of his sight but alas, she has to endure his presence for a time being.
