Chapter 83: The Envelope

Jenna wanted Donal to read it before she accepted the offer. It had arrived in her mailbox by snail mail only the day before. She didn't know anything about the company and couldn't find much on the internet. A few weeks ago, she wouldn't have thought anything of that.

Now she was suspicious and wanted Tex's skills to assure her this offer was for real. But first, the interviews. She entered the offices and was greeted by Sean. She paused in front of Sean.

"Hi," she said.

"Hey. Babysitter called in sick."

"Liam's his name," Sean said tucking his son under his arm. "The cops are waiting for you."

She paused. "They are okay?"

He chuckled. "No goblins. They wouldn't have made it in the door."
