Ben would do everything in his power to protect his children, if he had them. Tex shrugged. "I think that you're doing the right thing. It is the only way to win this battle with the goblins."

He shook Tex's hand. "Thanks. And Aileen?"

"Good to know. Now let me think about what I'm going to say."

Tex climbed up onto the table and sat behind the camera. "Well said."

She shook her head. "I've spent my whole life studying history. I want to be part of it now."
