The Sweet Sacrifice

“After the incident happened in your mind, what really happened?” Merlin asked.

I scratched my head and furrowed my brow trying to recall what happened after they all got out of my mind.

“After I beat the fox down, all its red chakra was absorbed through my body as a werewolf. That’s all I could remember.”

Merlin’s face suddenly lit up. I have no idea why he grinned if the fox suddenly absorbed my body.

“What was it all about?” Kevin asked in wonder.

He got the wooden fox that Merlin put on the table and twirls it.

“It simply means he was able to control the beast inside of him.”

Kevin and I were both surprised. If that’s the case, what happened to its immense power? During our training, I haven’t noticed some extra power of me.

“But I haven’t noticed after my training as a werewolf that I have that kind of immense power the fox has.”
