I froze in place for a split second when I heard the man speak. I looked at Aurora and just couldn't believe my ears.

"Why?" I asked, clenching my teeth as the wolf inside me let out an angry growl, forcing myself to glare at Aurora in anger.

Aurora panicked a little at the look in my eyes and glanced at the man next to her as if seeking help.

"Aurora doesn't need to report anything to you. She can do as she pleases. You're not qualified to restrict her freedom. She's already done enough for you," the man said, nodding towards Aurora first, then stepping to block her body, staring at me viciously.
