Just as she said, she snuck into the house and went straight to Regina’s office. She could still smell the herbs and spices Eleanor had used the other day. What would she need an oracle for? She started going through Regina’s papers that lay on top of her desk. Not finding what she sought, she went through her drawers. When she opened the second one, she was overwhelmed by the smell of her daughter. She searched through papers and at the very bottom she found one doused in blood. Azura had tracked for quite some time until she picked up the scent of smoke. She noticed that the forest looked more diseased as she continued on. There were no green bushes or shrubbery or flowers and the trees were bare. They either had dead leaves or lacked leaves at all. It seemed like everything was dying. Nicolas lead the warriors down a path through the forest, following track marks left behind by Ty and the others.
