Helen’s pov

I could feel the wetness of my fluid against my cheeks and the cracking of every bit of me.

“Eden, I know nothing about this. I would never try to hurt Father. He did nothing wrong to me and always loves me like his daughter.” My voice went lower and lower, and I took a break to have my vocal cords intact.

“I never said you did it. Never did I mention I didn't trust you. All I need is an answer to my troubled mind. How? Why? I can’t just think of it.”He ran his fingers repeatedly while I tried running through my clouded mind.

“Could it be the perfume Mandy gifted me?” I asked him after a clear thought.

“Since the test was done on my clothing material, it is just the perfume I used and have been using,” I added when he eyeballed me.

“I knew it.” He jumped to his feet, grabbing his car key, “My mind has been there. Her sudden change and kindness? Every damn thing was worth suspecting. Let’s go, Helen!” He grabbed my wrist carefully but tightly.

“Pick the perfume.” He order
