Chapter 14 - Girlfriend
Abbey POV
I get out of the bathroom as soon as the voices disappear and I start to gather my clothes. Henry comes back alone and closes the door behind him. He grabs me from behind as I am pulling my jeans on.
“I’m sorry about that”, Henry says and I nod my head. I don’t even know what to think. I don’t know why he is trying to keep me away from his parents like this. Is he ashamed of me? I told him my family has money, not as much as his, but we have enough money for me to know how to behave in high society places.
