Chapter 77

Ethan's pov.

As I drove down to the hideout, all I could think about was Kimberly and how she'd slipped through my fingers once again. I wanted to be mad at Tony and Axel but I couldn't be. It wasn't their fault, they were merely doing their job. A good one, I might add.

"Boss, he's in here," Tony gestured for me to follow him to the back room as soon as I got out of the car.

I followed him in and found a man I didn't recognize gagged and blindfolded, sitting on the bare floor. The way he was dressed told me that he maybe had a white-collar job and he looked a little young. Maybe early twenties.

"Gotten anything from him?" I asked no one in particular as three of my men were present in the room.

"Only that he works for a magazine company," Axel was the one to speak.

"Which?" I asked, out of curiosity.

"THE GOSSIP CENTER," Tony answered.

I rolled my eyes at the ridiculous-sounding name but also couldn't help but wonder how they had been able to find where I lived.
