"What do you think they are doing in there?" Scarlett asked.

Lily pressed her ears against the door and heard howls of tears. There was nothing more strange than hearing two grown men crying. 'What in the world is happening?'

"If Uncle Liam hurts Daddy, I will give him scrambled eggs!" Aiden declared.

Lily's father was standing behind all of them. He said, "Okay. That's it. I'm taking down that door."

"Dad, calm down," Lily said. "It seems like they are having a heart-to-heart conversation."

"Why don't you guys order dinner to keep your mind off these two?" Lily suggested.

"I - I can buy food, Miss Wright," Ryan offered. After several hours, he was still there, waiting for his boss to come out.

"No, it's fine, Ryan. We can call the restaurant, and they will bring up the food," Lily said.
