Chapter 65 – Sweetheart, welcome home

Maeve smiled and snuggled close to his chest without saying any more.

Whenever she proposed something, Gabriel would take it to the next level and ensure to cover all her tracks, including those she never thought about.

He was her soul mate, also making life easier for her, and being close to him, made her feel as if she was in a carefree world with no problems.

After another two and half hours, the pair were alighting from a Toyota Corolla at Gabriel’s underground office car park where Doreen was waiting for them.

“Great. Am I supposed to drive the Corolla now?”

Doreen was not happy. She was not obsessed with houses or clothing as much as she was with cars. Gabriel pulled her into a comforting hug before he said,

“Just to the house. Your car is already parked there and the owner of the Corolla is also there to take his car back.”

Doreen pulled away, folded her hands to her chest, and asked
