"Someone complained, but it wasn't her," Sandra answered calmly.

"Someone complained, but it wasn't her?" Glenna asked.

Glenna repeated every word Sandra just said but in an inquiring tone. Disbelief and doubts filled her expression like she could not believe someone else would dare dip a finger into this issue. She was thinking about letting it go. What she said to that newbie in the hallway was just an empty threat. She was even annoyed when that service girl bravely talked back at her. Now that she recalls everything that has happened, Glenna is feeling furious again.

"Then who? Let them come forward," Glenna did not hide her fury provocations.

"Are you sure about that?" Sandra had to pretend she was taking sips of her vodka to hide her smile. Oh, how she would love to laugh maniacally and victoriously. But Sandra knew it would affect her badly if Glenna realized even the slightest thought that Sandra was enjoying her promising misery.
