Trisha smiled at Denny's gestures. It felt sweet, and she was not drunk, but the alcohol's effect was also starting to kick in her system. She was feeling bold and brave, like last time.

"Honey, I am not sure about that," she replied gently, yet with coquetry.

Denny was stunned by her answer. It was not what he assumed she would say in response to what he had just said. He raised his eyebrows in query.

"What do you mean?" Denny asked.

Trisha smiled. Her smiles even turned into soft laughter.

"Honey, I don't think you would ever be lonely. If you haven't noticed, many service girls in Sweet Haven are willing to make you happy. I was even targeted because of that fact," Trisha stated earnestly, also with respect.

"I don't know if you have heard, I don't interact with everyone the way I do with you," Denny defended. "And don't start asking me why. I don't know the answer myself," he hurriedly added, chuckling at his statement.
