Chapter 18: Trigger Warning
"You're so evil, Rod! I curse you!" I shouted as I struck his chest. I couldn't accept that he allowed his men to violate Lana. They defiled her! They are so evil! "You beast!" I slapped his cheek. Gasping for breath, I stared at him intensely. Rodrigo glanced sideways, not answering, but he touched his cheek and slowly looked at me. I swallowed hard when his gaze turned sharp. I stepped back when he approached. But he forcefully held my chin and squeezed my cheeks.
"This is your fault, Jane! If you hadn't left, this wouldn't have happened. Blame yourself, Jane! It's your fault!"
"You beast!" I shouted, trying to break free from Rod. I ran towards Lana, who was still staring blankly at the side. I was filled with pity at her appearance, clearly showing her despair. "My God, Lana!" I sobbed and quickly took off my jacket, covering her nakedness. "L-Lana, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Forgive me, Lana!"
