I woke up to someone kissing my shoulder and neck. Surprised, I sat up to see Rodrigo smiling at me. He was already dressed in formal attire and his hair was neatly styled.

"W-Why?" I asked, puzzled. I adjusted the blanket covering my body.

"Be ready. Have breakfast. We have a party to attend, and I need you there," he said.

I furrowed my brow. "A party? Where? What's happening?"

"We're just celebrating because the construction of the resort has started. I also want to formally introduce you to people as my wife."

I was even more confused. Does that mean the resort they planned before is finally happening? I nodded and held onto my blanket tightly.

"I will go now. Some people will come here to prepare you, so have your meal, okay?" he said, kissing me on the head.

I didn't reply and just nodded. I waited for him to leave before lying down again. Are we leaving again? Since the time I complained about wanting to go out again, he always takes me along. We often attend gatherings.
