I woke up to the smell of bacon and coffee, and immediately wanted to go back to sleep. My head was pounding, and my mouth was dry. I looked over at who was in bed with me, and I was relieved to see Rose and Kam. I looked around the room, and realized it wasn’t mine. It was Mary’s. Kimi, Kam, and Rose left around eleven thirty. Jimmy, Saoirse, and I finished cleaning the house. It was the one condition Ma had for my parties. I’d learned more about Kimi in the last hour than I’d learned in the last six months. I quickly shifted in her back seat, then pulled my clothes back on.
