Making my way downstairs, I find Jade and Cyran sitting on the couch. They were in an intense conversation and didn’t seem to realize that I had come downstairs. I thought about alerting them, but something Jade said caught my attention.

“They are looking to appoint someone else as King.”

“There has never been a time that the council has stepped in to have someone else step into becoming the Dragon King.” Cyran didn’t look happy, but he didn’t look angered either.

“I asked them, but they didn’t want to give me a straight answer. When they arrived while you were gone, I thought it was strange. You informed them that you were looking for Azura, but they still came. Your uncle wasn’t with them.”
