Elektra's pov: After Alexander's revelations, many things changed that made my life brighter and happier from one day to the next. Alexander's presence was a catalyst for me. I loved him from the first time I saw him. Finding out that we were actually mates was a gift to me. After everything that happened recently, I had lost all hope for life. Bartholomew managed to make me believe that my future was doom, gloomy and lonely. I spent four days in the hospital. Apparently the poison was very strong and the doctors wanted to make sure there were no relapses. Besides Alexander, Roxanne and David visited me in a daily basis. Roxanne especially stayed with me the whole day while David preferred to stay a little and update me on everything in the pack. After Bartholomew's revelations I knew I had no right to continue being the Alpha of the Black Shadow Pack. I belonged to the Silver Dawn Pack by blood and origin. It's been something that was bothering me lately and I've decided to let Dav
Elektra’s pov:-“Now what?” I asked Alexander frustrated while we were descending the path.-“Relax. We will find a way my love” he tried to sooth me.-“What way? The elders were my last and only chance!” I pointed angrily.-“Don’t worry my love. We will think of something! Even if we don’t we know that we are mates and we love each other. We don’t need a kind of confirmation of our love or our relationship”-“What? No! How can you say something like this? I just can’t spend my whole life without feeling our bond. No, I am not going to compromise. I’ll find a way!” I said determined while a crazy idea crossed my mind. The rest of our trip went on in complete silence. A crazy idea started to haunt my mind. I just couldn’t wait to bring it to life. After one hour of walking and another one driving we finally arrived at the Black Moon Pack. I told Alexander to leave me in my old pack to take care of some things before I move to the Silver Dawn Pack. At first he wasn’t so willing to leave
Elektra’s pov:-“He is not my father and I didn’t come here to free him. How dare you?” I scolded him but he seemed unfazed by my sudden outburst. He opened the door by entering his code to the control panel and told me in a strict way “You have only ten minutes”-“Ok” I replied and after I took a deep breath I got in. The cell was moldy and cold. Bartholomew was ugly beaten: he had cuts and bruises all over his body while his face was already swollen. His clothes had become rugs and he had his head down.-"B……bartholomew" I managed to whisper. My voice was too low and timid for my taste, but though I mustered all my courage I could not sound sterner. He slowly raised his head and opened his eyes. He looked straight at me and smiled devilishly.-“Oh Elektra. To what do I owe the honor of your visit?” he asked in a sarcastic way.-“I came here because I seek some answers”-“Answers for what?”-“For my curse” I said louder.-“Oh the sweet princess wants to break the curse spell and marr
Elektra’s pov: I got in the car with a heavy heart. Bartholomew's words were full of venom. I know he didn't mean well, but what if there was some truth to it? -“Where do I go now?” I asked myself. -“Go to Alexander. Ask him about his feelings for you!” Frostie intervened in my head. -“Are you nuts? I can’t do something like this now!” I contradicted. -“Why not? If you ask Alexander directly, all your doubts will disappear!" Frostie suggested. -“I am not ready to face the truth” -“Why do you prejudge his answer?” Frostie wondered. -“I don't. I'm just not ready to deal with it right now” I explained. -“Then where are you going?” -“I really don’t know! I………” I said confused while started the engine of the car and accelerated. Alexander’s pov: It's been hours since I last spoke to Elektra. I really can't understand her. What's wrong with her? Why is she behaving like this? Ever since we left the elder's cabin, she has been distant and acting strangely. I know she was disappoin
Elektra’s pov:At five o'clock I got in the car and headed for the Silver Dawn pack. I was really upset about the whole thing. One side of me didn't want to follow the plan while the other insisted on doing it. I was dying to see Alexander's reaction. I was actually dying to see him again but something was holding me back. I was filled with doubts. I couldn't go on like this. I really hoped that he really loved me.After an hour and a half I was outside the southern border of the Silver Dawn pack. I passed the border control and headed towards the pack house where Alexander’s office was. I parked my car to the parking lot and headed towards the pack house when a guard greeted me and offered to accompany me. Although I didn’t find it necessary he strongly insisted so I let him do that. The guard informed the guards outside Alexander’s office about my arrival and they immediately welcomed me and opened the door for me. I got in while my escort stayed behind. As soon as Alexander realize
Elektra’s pov:I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. It was dark outside while there was a little light on in the room. I fumbled for the light switch and turned on the lights. The light made my eyes hurt for a few seconds until they adjusted to it. I looked around me. The room was very big and beautiful. White and cream were dominating. There was a big closet at my right and a small door at my left that probably led to the bathroom. I was lying on a very big double bed that had soft cotton sheets and a warm blanket. As I tried to figure out where I was, memories from hours earlier flooded my head. I was in Alexander's office, I rejected him and fainted! Oh my god what have I done! How could I do such a thing? What was I thinking? This man was always beside me. He helped me in everything and supported me when no one else did.I feel so ashamed of myself. How could I have been so naive? How will I be able to look him in the eye again after this? I have to get out of here right now.-
Alexander's pov: As soon as Elektra told me she felt the bond I ran to my office where Esmeree was waiting for me. I wanted to know if what Elektra felt was permanent or not. I was excited to share the good news when Esmeree stopped me by telling me that she already knew. Although it startled me, it didn't surprise me at all. -"Esmeree what 's going to happen now?" -"And they all lived happily ever after...." she replied mockingly. -"Come on, don't make fun of me. Will this phenomenon remain or there is a risk that Elektra will lose this capability again? I really hope not, it will be devastating for Elektra" -"This can only be answered by the Elders!" Esmeree replied coldly. -"Then I must pay them a visit immediately" I said decisively and abruptly stood up. -"Relax, you have a whole day to do that!" -"I can't wait any longer. I need to know! Now" I said impatiently. -"You can't go by yourself. You must take Elektra with you!" -"Ok. I will send a guard to inform her" -"Ele
Elektra’s pov: After I had breakfast alone in my room, an omega came and informed me that Alexander was already waiting for me at the parking lot. I took my bag and hurried out. Alexander accelerated as soon as I got in. It was obvious that he was very impatient. During the trip we remained quiet without exchanging a single word. I was devastated. My heart was pounding and I felt awful. I couldn’t stand Alexander’s attitude. He was purposely ignoring me the whole time. We reached the path leading to the elder's village, parked the car and continued on foot. During our ascent I felt very uncomfortable. Alexander climbed in complete silence without exchanging a single word. He was mad at me I could tell. “Oh my Goddess how did I manage to make such a mess! Although I knew I deserve his attitude, my heart can’t take it” I thought to myself. We reached the village and headed straight to the elder’s cabin, knocked on his door and after we heard the elder’s voice got in. -“Welcome again
