Chapter 28. Flashback

"As soon as your father retires, you will receive your inheritance and buy your own house", Sue said one Sunday afternoon. Sunday was the only day allocated to her children to visit. This was her arrangement. Every other day Chuck was there, a permemant resident. Eat, bath, leave his clothes to wash, the only thing he went home to do was sleep. Sunday after 5pm was the only day and time slot available to her children and grandchildren. No grandchildren could even request having a sleep over as the the answer would be no. It was heartsore to even see Alex and Andrea being turned down time and time again. It was only Emily's children who could stay over secretly, as if it was even a secret. They all knew that they were given special preference. The other grandchildren were just nothings and nobody's. It pained Sarah's heart every day just thinking about it.
