Chapter 35. Covid 19
*Cough, cough *
Nash was feeling under the weather. With his not so grand health, diagnosed with diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure in his early twenties the doctor advised him to take a covid test. Although his flu symptoms were mild he took his form and went to the nearest drive through testing. He prayed that his test would be negative but after two long frightening days his worst fears came to life.

Nat was hysterical, her tears could not stop flowing down her plump red cheeks. With all the deaths from this deadly virus she could not help but feel scared. Nat immediately jumped in the car and went the doctor followed by the drive thru testing venue. She prayed sbe would be negative but her nightmare was confirmed as well two days later. She prayed for their health.

This was the first Christmas in so many years spent apart from each other. But I guess it was God's Plan. Jacob cooked honey glazed roasted duck, roast vegetables, garlic bread, hot crab curry and salads. Sarah was really ill and slept most of the day. Christmas came and Christmas went. They awaited their test results. Was it going to be positive?Was it going to be negative? The days just dragged on as they waited. Still in quarantine. Still cleaning endlessly, social distancing and wearing masks all day, everyday. All they could do was cook, clean, eat and watch movies. Avoiding visitors. Making excuses. Sarah still felt rather depressed, but she got out of bed ready to give the best vesrion of herself. The year started of in segregation. Everyone video called to wish each other. Emily and her husband with her kids booked out in a fancy hotel.Mr and Mrs Daniels were at home, with Chuck of course. Sarah had reaslised that it was pointless keeping ties with people who is not there for you when you need them the most. She eventually stopped talking to Mrs Daniels, her mother by name only. Nash, Nat, Edith and her kids were at Sarah's place on a clear saterday afternoon.The air was crisp with an afternoon chill. They had planned a small sibling get together.
