Chapter 38. After Christmas

Christmas came and Christmas went. They awaited their test results. Was it going to be positive?Was it going to be negative? The days just dragged on as they waited. Still in quarantine. Still cleaning endlessly, social distancing and wearing masks all day, everyday. All they could do was cook, clean, eat and watch movies. Avoiding visitors. Making excuses. No one wanted to hear that you may have covid. There was stigma attached to it. The numbers of deaths were increasing. The number of people infected were rising. When ever the news came on it was depressing. Even facebook posts were centered around covid 19. Almost every post was a funeral notice, a keep me in prayer post or an educational message about how not to get covid 19.
