Sarah's days went on as usual. Although she now suffered from insomnia due to this whole saga, she was otherwise well.
Everyday she would ask herself:
''Was telling the truth so wrong? Was wanting the best for her father wrong? Did he actually know and chose to not see it? Should they have just said nothing and continued going there like fools? Did Chuck have no concience? Does her mother have no concience? What did they expect to happen when they asked the obvious questions? Why is it when we ask questions, it now becomes a sign of disrespect to elders? ''
Sometimes in life you need to cut away from the people who bring about negative energy. You need to make room for the positive light.
They had messaged Mr Daniels for his birthday, they even tried to call but his phone was off. He had really cut ties with them. All in the name of love. A love that was his no more. A love that he probably did not have from the very beginning. A love that was one sided.
Sarah,Jacob,Edith,Nash and Nat sat around the fire. The afternoon came quick and the sun had already set in the far east. The kids were watching Maya the bee, relaxing in the cozy lounge.Jacob was cooking outside , a mouth watering mutton curry with bursting graviy soaking potatoes.Nat and Edith chuckle.''What did I miss?'', Sarah asked curiously.''You tell her!!, Nat said.''No, you tell her'', Edith said.''Could someone just tell me already!!!'', Sarah burst out. They both laughed'' Alright'', Nat said,'' Let me do it with actions''.''So edith and I walked up to mum like two great guns,Edith went first and wished her happy mothers day, kissing her and hugging her only to be snubbed'', Nat did this with the expressions and acting.''At the function today?'', Sarah asked.''Yes'', Edith replied.Edith now acted out when Nat went.Sarah erupted with laughter,'' Don't feel bad guys, I was also sn
Its been five whole years later. The Daniels saga never ends, good times end within seconds and the evil parts seem to last longer.''The last five years have been really bumpy'', Sarah said reflecting on the past.''Stop living in the past, everything happens for a reason!!!'', Jacob said.''God is indeed great, we have been through the toughest of storms'', Sarah said as she switched the tv on.''Last time on the resident'',Sarah mimicked,''Oh , I love saying that!!!''.Jacob could'nt help but laugh. She looked so cute , mimicking the narrator.''Don't you have an interview tommorow?'',Jacon asked.''Yes''''Shouldn't you be preparing?'', Jacob asked with concern.''Prepare on what?'',Sarah asked.''I don't know. Prepare on the interview'',Jacob shrugged.''Are you stressing for me Mr White'',Sarah asked chuckling.''Maybe...............Maybe not!!!, I just know how much you want this job. Its like
After 3 long years of studying, Sarah applied like a crazy woman to every company she could find advertising. It was not that she was unhappy, it was because she needed a new , fresh start.Sarah dressed in a pencil skirt, black stockings, a crisp white shirt and a sleeveless coat. Tying her hair up in a bun, leaving tendrils around her face so she didn;t look like an air hostess, she applied light make up.She decided to go with a small heel closed tipped shoe, shiny red ro break up the black and white she had going on.Looking at herself in the mirror, she applied a red lipstick.''Pluck, pluck'', she puckered her lips together making sure it was evenly spread.''Good day, I am Sarah White'', She said, reaching out her hand to the mirror.''No, no, no. I sound like a dead beat'',She muttered under her breath.Looking at the red and silver clock hanging in the far end of the room, she read the time,''9h30am''.''I still have an
As Sarah watched the receptionist look at her like a wench, she stood up straight. trying to raiate some confidence and authority. The entire waiting room was full of applicants. Sarah began to wonder , what made her different from the rest? She took a seat, scoping the room for her competition. There where a few blonde girls. They looked as if they were auditioning for Hannah Montana. There was a black guy, he looked like his suit was swallowing him.Two red hair guys, One was awefully short with big bushy hair, like eep from the croods, but a male version, while the other was tall and tarzan looking. Sarah had to take a few deep breats and look out the window, incase she burst out in laughter. It was clear the receptionists were digging that look. There was going to be alot of competition. All these people in this room looked serious.Watching a few other people now join the bunch, there were a total of fifteen people here for the same inte
Sarah White acquired the job she so much wanted. It was a dream come true. She worked all her life for this. She longed to have a job that would pay for all her necessities and luxuries. Sarah went home smiling. She celebrated that night with a glass of wine and a bottle of champagne. Her kids were over the moon. Sarah worked all year round at this job. It took most of her energy but she loved it. It kept her busy most of the day. Her thoughts were never given the chance to wonder if she was truly happy.Sarah smiled as she looked at the seventy five thousand Rands provident fund pay out from her previous employer. She wanted to save it or invest it. She had goals and dreams. A dream to study supply chain management. "Did you get the money?", Jacob asked that afternoon. Sarah wanted to say no but she could not bring herself to speak a lie. She nodded. Jacob jumped up and down with excitement, "I have been seeing a few vehicles for us to purchase." Jessica looked at him in surpri
The next few weeks jessica looked at vehicles online with Jacob. It was something she found uninteresting but she did it to see the smile on his face. There was one in particular he had set his mind on. Although Sarah did not agree, she went with him anyway to see it.The moment she layed eyes on it, her heart was disgusted. It was old and rusty. She tried so hard to see the dream her husband was seeing but her eyes hurt and so did her brain by just trying. It was silver with spots of brown rust. A side mirror was missing and when it started up, clouds of smoke came through the exhaust. She hated it. She hated it so much. She tried to express her concerns but couldn't.She didn't want to ignite a fire of fury. She needed her peace. She spent her hard earned thirty two thousand Rands on this junk. It made her heart sore but Jacob gleamed with joy.She looked at the balance in her account and started asking for quotes for studying.Getting the information she required to enroll, Jacob a
Sarah had bought the house of her dreams. She had never thought that one day she would finally be a home owner.Things were great in the beginning. They started a new routine, saying grace before dinner, bathtime, learning time and so forth.Sarah enjoyed coming home to her own home. With her two lovely fur babies, her kids that she loved so much and Jacob.Although money was now tight because the bond was higher than the rent they paid previously, they still enjoyed the little things in life. The neighborhood was quiet and the night sky was clear. The air was crisp and unpolluted.Sarah's sister, Cheryl whose husband was a cheating pig, finally decided to leave him. She had put through a divorce. The ironic thing was that Mark Molt and Jacob were good friends.Sarah did not want to involve herself with this family issue, however Jacob started inviting Mark over.Until he finally wormed himself back into Cheryl's life.Life seemed different to Sarah now. She was no longer feeling the j
Night before wedding, I don't know why and whose, but I attended. It was one of Jacob's family members. Jacob and I were off and on dating. I saw him standing across me and my pulse quickened, my mouth went dry and I was giddy. It was that feeling I always got when I saw him. A feeling of longing. A feeling of wanting. Music started to play and a love song came on. Couples took to the floor, holding each other tightly and dancing closely. Jacob walked towards me, my head felt light as I watched him get closer. He approached and with one swift motion he grabbed my friend next to me and led her to the dance floor. My heart felt as if it had burst. My heart cried in pain as I watched them dance closely together. His family members looked at me, synical grins on their faces, as if I was a joke. I felt so embarrassed but I couldn't do anything about it except stand their like a wounded animal. I forced a smile on my face trying to hide the pain I felt within. My heart yet again ha
