Chapter 37. Christmas day
This was the first Christmas in so many years spent apart from each other. But I guess it was God's Plan. Jacob cooked honey glazed roasted duck, roast vegetables, garlic bread, hot crab curry and salads. Sarah was really ill and slept most of the day. Sarah was up after sleeping almost Twenty four hours, after lunch time. She helped him pack parcels for her family and Jacob dropped of that afternoon at each of their homes.
Although they were not in the Christmas spirit due to quarantining, they still had kids. Santa did deliver their presents and she watched Alex and Andrea tear open their presents. ''Wow, Santa gave me a watergun'',Alex said with excitement in his voice. Andrea tore open her pink wrapper,'' HaHa,Alex, My present is better than yours, I have a pink barbie''. They spent almost an hour tearing through presents that was under their small silver tinsel tree.

Sarah still felt rather depressed, but she got out of bed ready to give the best vesrion of herself. She smiled as she remembered ''Another day, another morning, I am still alive.Thank you God''.Taking a long shower,she washed her long silky hair. The year started of in segregation. Everyone video called to wish each other. Emily and her husband with her kids booked out in a fancy hotel.Mr and Mrs Daniels were at home, with Chuck of course. Nash, Nat, Edith and her kids were at Sarah's place on a clear saterday afternoon.The air was crisp with an afternoon chill. They had planned a small sibling get together. Sarah's days went on as usual. Although she now suffered from insomnia due to this whole saga, she was otherwise well.Everyday she would ask herself:''Was telling the truth so wrong?
