Mama Escapes: Big Mistake
Amy immediately laid the machine gun down on the wet pavement. She felt miserable and powerless again while staring into the eyes of the hitman.
“You broke my nose,” Paul chuckled while pointing up at his face and walking closer toward Amy. “No one has ever broken my nose. You have my respect.” Paul gave Amy his signature devilish grin. It was the same grin he gave her in the hospital room after she witnessed him cut her father’s throat before she passed out.
Amy swallowed a few times while trying not to break eye contact with Paul. “P-please don’t harm my son. Don’t hurt my baby,” Amy stuttered. She had a mental lapse and saw Omar in the hitman’s arms. Amy closed her eyes after the brief hallucination clouded her thinking.
“Are you okay, Mommy?” Omar’s sweet voice kissed Amy, but she knew it wasn’t real.

She released a gasping moan as she struggled to get up from the ground. Amy stood up to see Paul making his way toward her. She swung her fist at Paul, but the hitman caught her by the arm. He struck Amy across her face with the back of his hand before twisting her arm behind her back and dislocating her shoulder. A blood-curdling scream echoed throughout the underground parking garage. Amy tried to fight back, but she couldn’t.
