Jasper pulled the car over close to the police station. He opened the door of the car and walked out of it.

The bright morning sun was still dancing in the sky, he winced his face and scratched his hair. He walked over to where Tabitha was sitting and opened the car door.

"We are here!" He said as she climbed down from the car and he closed the door.

They both walked into the station and the desk officer quickly looked up at them. He studied them closely and frowned.

Looking at how worn out Tabitha was, he concluded that there had been domestic violence. He immediately hated Jasper as he shot him a glare.

They were asked to sit on a bench and wait for their turn as they sat down. Jasper sat next to a man with a bleeding nose that had a roll of toilet paper on his nose. Jasper was immediately disgusted at the sight and he tried not to look at the man.
