The Police van pulled over in front of the gigantic building of the hospital. By this time, the sun was dancing in the sky, showing its power.

And the blaring siren was immediately turned off.

The Sheriff alighted first and surveyed the environment with a glance, if he were seen from afar, one would think that he was a pregnant woman whose baby bump was due.

The other two officers alighted too from the van and came to stand next to him as they stared at the building too.

Sheriff James wished he could smoke, but he did not want to ruin his reputation as a reputable sheriff as eyes from passersby were glancing toward their van.

He knew they might be thinking that something was up at the hospital since he was there. Because Sheriff James never goes out except it has to do with human lives.
