CHAPTER 4_Alexander Volkov

PADRINO

He sat in his room, holding the cotton wool in his hand. He was not used to getting treatments in hospitals; besides, he hates hospitals. The blood was no longer gushing out; he glanced at the wound and back at the screen. He had seen all she had done; she threw away the food he had told them to drop off for her.

He was furious; she had such a sharp mouth and wouldn't shut up. He purchased her, and she had the guts to stab him with a pen. He wrapped the bandage over the injury as he watched her sleep.

He had seen her dress up, even though she annoyingly used the towel to block his view. He got up from the table as soon as he was done treating his wounds. He had to make sure she ate something, whether she liked it or not.

An evil grin appeared on his face as he walked out of the room. Who wouldn't have thought the best hacker would hack into his system all the time? Ever since they were in high school and always framed him for theft, was it in his home as a toy?

Yulia Rossi was the best computer geek when they were in high school. She had always bullied and picked up on him; she was such a great hacker that she hacked into his account and did terrible things, and now that he found her, Revenge was going to be so sweet, wasn't it?

He didn't know her name was Sofia because she never told anyone about it. He was surprised she didn't recognize him now; maybe he had grown muscular and more attractive.

He took a step closer to her room, and the lights went out suddenly. What was going on? He took out his phone and punched in a number. The phone was picked up on the second ring.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"I don't know." The man on the other end answered. "Our database seemed to be hacked, and the money is suddenly dropping. The lights are turning on and off, and all the security cameras are disabled. I think we are dealing with a really great hacker here."

Alexander ruffled his hair in annoyance. She had only come in for a day, and she had started to steal from him and disturb his house.

"Oh no, all the screens went blank; there is nothing I can do, sir."

With a sigh, he muttered. "Pull out the cable of the computer from the switch. I will make sure this stops."

As soon as the words left his lips, everything went back to normal. He glanced around the passageway; the lights were back on and stable.

"Sir, everything is normal now; the computer is on, but the money is reduced."

He ended the call with a scowl on his face. She had attacked his system, and now there was no hacker he could hire to keep his funds up. He unlocked the door and rushed into her room to catch her in the act. His brows furrowed in confusion as he saw her lying in bed. She was clutching tightly to her tummy and squirming around the bed.

He walked up to her and watched her. She cried out, and her hand tightened on the top she was wearing.

"Yulia? Yulia?" He called, moving close to her bed. "You think pretending would change the fact that..."

She screamed out, still clutching to her belly. He rolled his eyes. He was sure that she was only acting and plotting a way to escape. She didn't respond to him, and her screams only grew hoarse. He found himself rushing toward her.

"Yulia? Are you alright?"

He lifted her and held her in his arms. Her body felt really hot in his arms, if she wasn't the one who hacked into his system. Was there another hacker that could hack into his strong security system?

He placed his hand on her forehead and removed it immediately. The temperature of her body was so high that he could not place his hand on it. He needed to get the doctor for her. She was not pretending. She grabbed him by the waist and pulled him close.

"Body…hot…hungry…sick.'' She muttered, her eyes still closed.

He knew she was the one to pretend; she was really good at pretending, but if she could die, He was never going to forgive himself for not being able to take revenge.

"You are hungry and sick." He questioned.

She didn't respond but began sobbing softly and wincing in his arms. He needed to take her to the hospital, but due to the fact that she was a great liar, He had to bring the doctor home.

He took out his phone and punched in a number. Her hand moved up, knocking away his phone. It was rather hard for someone who was sick, and then she screamed again before he could speak.

He groaned; this was the first time he had held a sick woman in his hand with a really hot temperature. His body was already feeling a little warm.

"I will get the phone, alright? I can't let my $50,000 go to waste."

He gently placed her on the bed and bent to stand up to pick up his phone. Her hand grabbed his back pocket, pulling him in and stopping him from leaving. He glanced back at her and held her hand.

"I am not leaving." He half-yelled. "Stop acting like a baby."

He removed her hand from his pocket and bent down to pick up the phone. After retrieving his phone, he walked back to the bed and sat close to her. He punched in the same phone number and dialed it. The call refused to connect. He cursed nonstop and tried again; it was still the same thing.

"I will be back."

He hurried out of the room. He wondered what type of sickness could make her squirm like a fish. Hot temperature, belly ache, and what? If she could die, all his plans, efforts, and money would go to waste.

He entered his room, picked up another phone, and called the doctor. The phone was taken on the first ring. He began speaking through clenched teeth.

"Padrino here, I want you to attend to someone in my home. You have the address, right?"

"Yes Padr…"

He hung up, listening to what the man had to say. Since the man had uttered the word yes, there was nothing else to say. Now he had to figure out who hacked into his system.
