(Asher’s POV)

My mother, looked strangely estatic. After retrieving me and Elaine from the school, the three of us enjoyed the dinner in my late father’s restaurant. Just like me, Elaine was shocked to see the presentation for the dishes, and the amount which was surprisingly tremendous. We ateand chatted lighthearted topics, topics I knew wasn’t actually the reason why my mother ordered our servants to tend to us and brought me and Elaine to this high end family restaurant.

After a fulfilling dinner, I began my interrogation to my mother.

The first question goes simply like this, “Did something happen that you’re so happy?”
