Kora and I had different opinions when it came to sharing with Damien the idea of turning the afterlife into one realm and in summary, destroying Heaven and Hell. It was a lot for an eighteen-year-old to take on, and Kora told me that I needed a plan before I share the insane idea with him or anyone for that matter.
My thoughts on it were different. Damien is so smart, and my husband, so I wanted to tell him everything.

“What harm will it do for me to tell Damien?” I asked.
“He is a demon, and the nephew and best friend of the devil, the secret will not be kept for long, and if Lucifer finds out,” Kora inhaled deeply and looked away from me.
