"Her husband is here.." the maidens of the Ekalot household mummur.
"He visits her now ? three months have passed." The maidens of three sighed in disgust.
"At least he's the first person to visit, her own twin sister is out there squandering her money, what a shameless whore." One of the maids hissed in disgust.
"Shameless indeed..." the maid whispered as Delilah's husband walked passed them, a brief eye contact was made with the maid that spoke last, she faintly bowed her head in respect the moment their eyes tore from each other they all glared at Dimitri.
He graced down the hall with his presence, power was obviously noticable as he struts down the hallway, power that wasn't even his to begin with.
He stopped at a destination, a white wooden door was the only thing in his way, acting sly he tucks in his shirt and runs his finger through his jet black curly hair. An uneasy breath of unease was heard with slight cough. Dimitri froze, he's seen the tabloids how he gave up on his marriage ever since Delilah woke up from a coma, how he was just only a trophy husband and without Delilah he's basically irrelevant.
He let the rumors stir up just to foolishly show how relevant he was, but the truth is he's only relevant with Delilah, that's the reason he had power and money anyways, he was Delilah's trophy husband.
He shook the thought off, fixing his hand on his door knob he thinks thoroughly on what he was going to tell Delilah, why did he take three months before visiting her, how was he going to handle her tantrums, he was nervous but he couldn't back up now, the paparazzi ambushed him on his way here.
"Delilah..." He twist the knob and pushes himself in to see Delilah dressed in a black night gown, she was midway brushing her pen in a thick black notebook, her almond colored eyes stuck on Dimitri, her was was expressionless and cold.
There was a minute of dead silence between the two, Delilah dropped her pen and carefully gets away from her study.
"Can I help you ?" Delilah pouted innocently hinting a slight irritation, Dimitri frowned arching a brow, his thoughts enveloped him, he was expecting a tantrum, a throw down or a slap or even a loud scream but Delilah was strangely calm.
"I...you..." Dimitri stuttered, he wasn't expecting this calm reunion, Delilah folded her arms and sighed.
"Would you stop looking like a pervert? Who the fuck are you and what do you want ?" Dimitri heaved a sigh of relief, that was the Delilah he knew but as he processed the words that came out of her mouth he gently stroked his chin slightly.
"Excuse me ?" Dimitri answered.
"It seems like you're deaf, Nathalie..." immediately a maid walked in between the two. "You called ?" her eyes focused on a confused Dimitri.
"Kindly walk him out of my room, if he persist, call security..." Delilah ordered. Nathalie looked at Dimitri and looked back at Delilah.
"Mistress Delilah, this is your husband should I still call security ?" Nathalie questions which made Dimitri more confused.
"Delilah, what's going on ? I don't understand, did you already divorce me without my knowledge ?" Dimitri blabbered leaving the room in a fog of confusion.
"Sir Dimitri, please follow me I will explain.." Nathalie whispered but he ignores her walking up to Delilah, he plants both his hands on her face with a tender gaze.
"Delilah, I'm sorry if you're upset then you're allowed to be, I shouldn't have taken time before I visited you.." before he could finish speaking she slapped his grasps away from her. "I don't know you.." she yelled with tears in her eyes, her eyes glimmer innocence and confusion.
"Get him out.." Delilah sobbed.
"Delilah please.." he tried reaching out to her but Nathalie came in between them. "Master Dimitri, please leave lady Delilah, she's unwell and needs test.." Nathalie explains. "No I need to apologise.." Dimitri persisted.
"What ever you need to apologise is invalid, listen to me lady Delilah is unwell..." Nathalie explains.
"What do you mean she's unwell she looks okay.." Dimitri says. "Let's talk outside please, you'll understand everything." Dimitri gives up, Delilah was sobbing and what he came here for wasn't to make her cry. He exits the room with Nathalie leaving Delilah alone they both stood outside the room, Dimitri spoke first, "What happened to my wife ?"
"Please forgive Lady Delilah, three months ago ever since she woke up from her coma, she's been diagnosed with systemized amnesia." Nathalie spoke bowing down her head.
"She lost all her her memory ?" Dimitri quivers. "No, she only lost a few, such as the death of her parents, Vlad and you..." Nathalie whispers the last part nervously.
"I don't understand.."
"Lady Delilah, doesn't have any memory of you, you are dead to her.."
The Ekalot household are the most prestigious household in the country, not only do their riches come from old money they are rumored to run the country making the president a mere puppet. Though this theory had been debunked many times it never left the mouth of the people. So when Delilah Ekalot the first daughter, announced her engagement to Dimitri, the country was left shocked. They were shocked because the person she was engaged to had no social status, neither power, Dimitri was just a Cook's son.Admist the engagement there were rumours Delilah was interested in women as she never set eyes for a man all that was debunked after her engagement to Dimitri.Dimitri was very handsome, his jet black curly hair, hazel colored eye's, delinquent smile and pe
Ever since Delilah slipped into a coma the Ekalot business was handed over temporarily to her next of kin, Dimitri. Fiona, Delilah's twin sister was supposed to have had the business passed to her since she was in fact the second offspring but Fiona was nor serious about the family business and Delilah removed her sister from getting access to the business, she gave Fiona an allowance so she could keep up with her spending but it was never enough. Fiona seemed to overspend no matter how much her allowance was budgeted.Delilah takes off her reading glasses, her finger tip massages her forehead. Since she finally returned to her office she's been going through the budget left to Dimitri's care due to her absence.Dimitri managed to pull it off, though there were some loses it was no matter, the business was doing well. Deli
"Thank you for joining me and my husband for breakfast dear sister.." Delilah flashes a smile at her sister. Fiona snarled quietly but then composes herself. "How could I object, food was involved.." Fiona shoves a piece of pancake in her mouth. "I'm surprised you booked a simple diner serving pancakes and call this breakfast." Fiona hissed.Delilah shrugged and leaned to give Dimitri a quick peck."Dimitri told me this was where we had our first date." Fiona rolled her eyes and puts on a pretense of vomiting because of the PDA Delilah and Dimitri were initiating."So basically this is my punishment then ? Couldn't you just frame me for murder and have me killed instead.." Fiona rolled her eyes, Delilah chuckled.
"Delilah.." Dimitri whispered leaning against the frames of the door of her office. She was drastically going through some documents in a rush. "Just a minute.." she echoed comparing some files, Dimitri sighed knowing his wife was a workaholic. He ran his finger through his curly hair heading towards her direction "your eyes have been..""Done." before he could finish his sentence she interrupted him."Thank goodness.." Dimitri grinned victoriously. "Dimitri ? It's kind of obvious, you don't like coming to the mansion, my parents house." Delilah mutters to Dimitri who looked unease. The Ekalot residence was a huge mansion in the best estate, it's housed countless generations and more, so it
Delilah normally got a check up from her family doctor, ever since she's been released from the hospital she's been taking several exams and test."Very good Delilah, you're improving, soon enough you'll start gaining your memories." The doctor said. "I'm glad." Delilah muttered, she overhears Fiona groan."Is that all you need ?" Delilah asks Fiona who already packed seven suitcase for her temporary stay with Audrey. Audrey was getting married in a different state, Delilah already booked a hotel for Fiona's stay. "I would have packed more but you limited my bags.." Fiona hisses."Your going to a wedding, you don't always have to be that stands out, humble yourself.." Delilah says with a calm smile, the doctor was jotting a few words while the sisters chat.
"How long has it been Fiona ?" Audrey immediately hugged Fiona who walked into the entrance of the luxurious hotel, it wasn't as Luxurious as a few of the hotels the Ekalot's owned.Fiona was too startled to hug Audrey back, Audrey was gently squeezing her, they both soon disembark from the hug.Their eyes met, one filled with tension and the other was almost emotionless."Audrey are you alright ?" Fiona reached out unsure of what to do with her hands, Audrey immediately backs up some spaces, it was actually a violent jerk that was displayed."Don't touch me." A tiny whisper escapes Audrey's lips, Fiona had no clue what was going on, but looking at Audrey's facial expression she looked tired, exhausted, her eyes were red, her skin was pal
A smirk rides on Theodore's face leaving a subtle chuckle, his expression seemed to terrify Fiona even more, he wasn't asking questions he just shortly stood close to the frames of the door simply being amused."I didn't kill her." Fiona immediately muttered, she didn't sound shaky, rather she sound confident mostly because she didn't kill Audrey."I know.." Theodore says walking up to the dead body. He visually studied her and shrugged. "Oh well she's dead." He turns back to see a bewildered Fiona."Given how much you despise me, Aren't you supposed to be taking me in ?" Fiona mutters to understand which side Theodore is, for one she knows he's not on her side."Well you didn't do it, just
Delilah was on her phone, she kept muttering one word at a time in unison. "I understand, is Fiona okay ?" Dimitri who was just letting himself into her office was suspicious. Delilah heaves a deep breath. "Thank goodness, can I talk to her ?" Delilah mutters, her expression looks devastated."Oh, I understand then request an autopsy, I don't want this case reaching the media until the results comes out. Thanks, later." Delilah says hanging up the call, her eyes met Dimitri who stared at her with curiosity."What happened to Fiona, did she get arrested again ?" Dimitri questions. "Yes, I've got to go.." Delilah hurriedly arranges her desk and quickly grabs her keys, Dimitri stood in front of her blocking her path."Is she okay what did she do this time ?" D
