Chapter 24

We both turned towards the voice; he was hot as usual, but not as hot as Axios.

"I knew it was your scent," I heard Kiara say as she jumped on him. He quickly grabbed her with open arms, and before Axios could warn them against making out in front of him, their mouths were already fused.

"Axel, what the fuck are you doing here?"

"Came to see how you are faring in exile, Alpha."

"Firstly, I am in exile for a reason, and you are not supposed to be here unless it is super important; secondly, quit calling me that; I am not your alpha anymore; you are Alpha now."

He snapped at Axel, who stared at him silently. Kiara got down from Axel's body, and she joined him, in staring at Axios also.

"What were you like when you were the alpha?" I asked Axios, trying to ease the tension in the room. Besides, I wanted to know what he truly was like when he was the alpha of his pack.
