Chapter 35

I opened my eyes to a faintly lit room. My vision was a little blurry, and I tossed from one side of the bed to the other. When my vision became clear, I couldn't quite figure out where I was or why my head was aching.

I was still lost in thought when images of me in that weird room flashed before my eyes. I suddenly became apprehensive when I finally remembered that I had fainted in that room. I turned to see a figure sitting on the couch.

"I can't possibly still be inside the weird room," I silently asked myself. I looked away, scared as fuck, as I didn't want to make eye contact with whomever it was.

"Someone must have found me." I tried convincing myself while looking around the room, scared to my bones. I don't know what I would do if I were still lying in that haunted room.

I turned to the side to see a bedside lamp giving off light.

"This is the bedside lamp in Axios room," I silently said to myself as I continued looking around the room.
