CHAPTER 53: ANNA’S NIGHTMARES

Thunder rumbled nonstop as lightning lit up the sky, the clouds were thick but there was no sign of a downpour yet. There were screams and sounds of running people from everywhere and one couldn’t pinpoint the exact place it was coming from in the castle. Anna felt as if she could hear those screams in her head. She was running but she didn’t know where to.

Someone was actually pulling her along as they ran through the corridor of the palace. She didn’t know why they ran but she could smell the danger and fear in the air. She was wearing a long white night dress, her hair was messy as if she had just woken up from bed and she noticed she was closer to the floor than she normally was. She was confused as to why she had gotten shorter. She looked up but didn’t even reach the hip of the woman who was pulling her along nor was she able to see her face, but she knew she trusted this woman and thus followed along.
