40. In the underworld.

Ruby’s POV

My head hurts!

I open my eyes slowly and look around, my whole body hurts. Where am I?

I’m in a really dark room, even with the lights on. The room is still so dull.

“Where am I?” I push my body so hard past the pain just to get myself up. I must be dreaming, I've never been in such a room before.

That's when all the occurrences come rushing back to me, I was feeling so weird, my head was on fire and so was my stomach. My breathing was so hard, I thought I was dying. But then after that my mind goes blank.

I look around the room and there is nothing familiar to my eyes, there is nothing to show that a person resides here either. There isn't a wardrobe or anything welcoming in the room, it's just the bed in the middle of the room, and the small window near the ceiling, this room is practically a cell. And its walls are painted all black, even the duvet which was covering me is black. It's so unusual.

I hear footsteps approaching, I get back on the bed and pretend to s
