64. His shoulder to cry on.

Third person’s POV

As Ruby went outside crying in pain, Arwin couldn’t get over the tightness in his chest. He knew something wasn’t right, and he knew it definitely had something to do with Ruby.

He got off the bed, put on some clothes and rushed towards the school. He didn’t have any classes so he had no reason to be there, but he had to make sure Ruby was alright first.

The kiss they had shared awoke some sense of protectiveness over her, something in him made him want to protect Ruby at all cost. He didn’t know what it meant, but he had no time to think about it. Maybe she was the woman he had been waiting for all his life. The more he got near the school, the more the tightness escalated. Something must be really wrong with her, he thought to himself.

He hoped it was just a false alarm though, he couldn't bring himself to think of anything bad happening to Ruby.

He passed the gate in a flash ignoring all the stares from the students and rushed towards the hostels. He
