Chapter 28; Did he even cry for our baby?

Coraline's POV

While I had been showering, Elijah had called a doctor, he removed the sheets of my bed and replaced them with clean sheets. The doctor came to check me and confirmed my notions that I had had a miscarriage. Elijah berated the doctor about why I had a miscarriage but I had shut both of them out and instead covered myself with my duvet, sinking myself into the abyss.

That was two days ago and since then I hadn't seen daylight, I had the curtains drawn out and not a flicker of light got into the room. I hadn't showered as well, I had barely gotten out of bed, what was the use, I felt no motivation to leave my bed, I didn't want to see anyone or anything so I chose to stay under the duvet.

Elijah brought me food and water that I refused to eat or drink, he would leave them on my bedside table and they would be waiting for him when he returned later to pick them up.

The door creaked but I didn't bother myself to lift my head, I knew who it was. Elijah cleared his throat as
