Unexpected Lunch date

Kim's phone rang while she prepared breakfast for herself. "I'm coming," she screamed. "Hang on there."

She wiped her hand on a kitchen towel and went to her phone. She glanced at it. It was Henry Willis calling. She wasn't expecting his call, though she had been expecting it before.

She answered the call. "Hello Henry."

"Hello beautiful," Henry's said huskily. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing well, you?" Kim asked, keeping her eyes on the water on fire.

"I'm doing well too," he said. "I know my call was unexpected. Sorry."

"No, you don't have to apologize," Kim said quickly. She saw the water had began to boil. "Can you give me thirty seconds? I just need to do something very important."

"Alright dear," Henry said.

Kim kept the phone back on the table and went to turn off the gas after bringing down the kettle. Her hand mistakenly touched the kettle and she screamed.

"Is there a problem?" Henry asked, worriedly.
