“The ocean?”

Zachariah hummed, looking away. Red tint covering the whole area of his cheeks.

We both had left the basement since it was getting a bit hotter with time. Right now, we were seated on the same bean bags but on a different floor. The floor of Zachariah's bedroom.

“Why?”

“Uh, I don’t know. I have always loved the fresh sea breeze.”

“Oh? Really? Well for some reason the color of eyes reminds me of the sea and the greenery within in it.” I blurted out with a small smirk latched on my face. His head turned towards me, wide eyed. “Eh, stop exaggerating.”

“I’m quite serious though.” I shrugged, giving him a playful glare.

He shook his head and mumbled, “but some people say that I have weird and scary eyes who lure people away.”

A gasp left my mouth. “What-?! no way. Who the fuck said such thing?”

“N-No one.” He sighed and stood up.

His feet led him to the attached balcony.

“Zar, you can't let people talk to you like that.” I scoffed whilst mimicking his actions.
