Chapter Fifty Six

The incessant ringing of Ethan's phone jolted him awake from his sleep and his eyelids fluttered open. The room was dark except for the lamplight which Saira had left on because she didn't like sleeping in the dark. He leaned over her to pick up his phone from her bedside table and stared at the screen. It was just two am in the morning which made him frown but he answered the call anyway.

"Hello."

"Ethan?" Jeanette's voice said in his ear. "Ethan, I don't know what's wrong with DJ."

Ethan slowly shifted out from under Saira and got out of bed and went to the bathroom. "What do you mean?" He rubbed his hand over his face to clear the sleep from his eyes.

"He's been crying all night. I don't know what to do." She said.

"You should take him to the hospital. Health Land." Ethan told her. "I'll be there in an hour."

"Okay." She said.

"There is a doctor on call at the hospital, I'll give her a call so she can immediately attend to him once you get there." He said.

"Okay." She said.
